About us
How it started
Founded in 2023, Platipus emerged from a heartfelt vision to bridge the gap between young adults and the church
community in an increasingly digital world. During evangelism, the founder recognized the need for a platform that could seamlessly connect young adults with churches and communities, offering a space for spiritual growth, community engagement, and meaningful connections. Drawing upon his technical background, he saw an opportunity to leverage
technology to serve the church and provide young adults with a dynamic platform for exploration and connection.
At Platipus, our mission is rooted in the desire to see more young people encounter salvation and find a supportive
community where their questions are welcomed, their spirits nurtured, and their social and spiritual development fostered. We believe in the power of community, technology, and faith to transform lives and empower the next generation to thrive

Statement of Beliefs
-
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet distinct in role
and function -
The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became incarnate, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the redemption of humanity, and rose again on the third day, demonstrating His victory over sin and death
-
The Authority of Scripture
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became incarnate, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the redemption of humanity, and rose again on the third day, demonstrating His victory over sin and death
-
Salvation by Grace through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, offered freely to all humanity through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned through good works or personal merit but is received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
-
The Atonement
We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, through which He paid the penalty for humanity's sin and reconciled us to God. His death and resurrection provide the only means of salvation and forgiveness of sins
-
The Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, affirming His victory over sin and death. The resurrection assures believers of their future resurrection and eternal life with God
-
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come again in power and glory to judge the living and the dead. His return will consummate God's kingdom and fulfill His redemptive purposes for creation
-
The Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells believers, empowers them for Christian living, and gifts them for ministry and service to others
-
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, composed of all believers in Jesus Christ, and the local church, gathered for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. The Church is called to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate God's love to the world
-
Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life and the resurrection of the unrighteous to judgment and eternal separation from God. Believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God in His
presence, while unbelievers will experience eternal separation from God in hell
